Site Grading
J. E. Liesfeld Contractor, Inc. employs a wide variety of grading equipment as part of our site preparation and site development work in order to sculpt the client's site from its original elevations to the project's design elevations. Our emphasis is on maintaining our client's site development schedule while delivering a high-quality site product within a safe operating environment. We have worked closely on grading projects over the past thirty-four years with most of central Virginia's geotechnical firms as well as many of its civil engineering firms.

Grading, to us, means emphasizing maintenance of the erosion control scheme throughout the job in an effort to eliminate or minimize disturbances to the ecology surrounding the site. Each site is "rolled-in" every evening to reduce downtime owing to wet weather. Our long-range weather radar keeps our field crews apprised of weather conditions that will affect their site development work.
